BUZZ and Bumble
Yesterday I shared two photos from Close To My Heart, The second picture is a lay out made for the cover of the New 2013 spring/summer Idea book that recently launched. Its the second layout I want to showcase at this time. The New paper pack from CTMH available is called Buzz and Bumble. I just Love this line. I find the pattern papers intriguing. The "bumble bee" reminded me of Mary Ash Kay.Today I took on a simple task that I should of been able to accomplish . Even though I stumbled , I did it with the aid of my family. Mary Kay believed God should be first in your life, family second, and career third. [The bumble bee pin worn on Mary Kay's lapel carries an interesting story. The bumble bee for all it's illustrious work should simply not have the anatomical ability to fly!! Certain research demonstrates thousands of reasons why it should NOT be able to fly... Yet it does! This is a testament to Mary Kay's (and LTBN's) philosophy of "can do" and "you can too.]
This was another wake-up call that I can do with God and family. For the career, I spent 28 years working with physically and mentally disabled adults in many settings. I did have to retire but it was because of my disability. Looking at one day at a time I can feel like that bumble bee, "I can too."
The intriguing papers in this kit are beautiful. The Paper packet has 6- 12"x12" B&T Duos, 2 each of 3 double-sided designs it also come with 6 -12"x12" sheets of card stock in the shades of Champayne, Cocoa, Creme Brulee , and Sunset. The packet sells for $9.95.( X7164B) Also available is the Kit that has enough materials and instructions to create 2 beautiful layouts, a stamp set, and assortment of coordinated embellishments. The kit sells for $29.95. (G1054) There are several other items that coordinate with this entire line. For more information you can browse the catalog pages 24 - 29.

Looking for HELP
I just bought a new computer. My old one worked ok but it was slowing down. I have many files. I bought an external hard drive to back up my computer. It seemed to work. Then I hooked up to the old
computer and it appeared hard drive info was going back to old computer. Took a long time. I then
hooked up the external to the new computer and it seemed to load pictures. Then nothing happened.
I went looking around for the pictures and they are no where on the new computer.
I'm getting a Cameo for Christmas, I need to get all the svg files , zipped files .and put some kind of system on the new computer. Any help would be appreciated.

Trying Something New
In my last post I announced I was thinking of joining Close To My Heart. I did sign with the company and my kit was ordered. I became a little reluctant while trying to move around the site
which was to be my site. I called CTMH with a list of questions and some concern. I continued
working at my site, when frustrated I LEFT THE COMPUTER. Well I tried again today
and learned to move around the CTMH site. Things seemed a little easier.
I checked the status of the kit yesterday, its at the UPS depot 20 minutes from my HOME.
I thought for sure it would arrive today but it didnt. (I did receive other happy mail though). So
it looks like I'll have to wait til Monday. More time to manuever around the site, and start going
thru the TRAINING PROGAM.
Thats todays update, If you would like tovisit my Close to my Heart site, just click on the Shop

My Announcement
Ive been keeping a little busy scrap booking my families trip to Disney last year. I have no pictures to share yet as its a work in progress.
I mentioned an announcement, ON August 1st, I will signing on with Close To My Heart. I am so looking forward to this. They are offering a special price for the starter kit, $49 or $99. Theres just enough product to get started.
Then there was the announcement of the Cricut CTMH cartridge...
"Artiste". We were all in awe over Art Philosophy. Well this new cart is a double awesome. There are 700 cuts , consisting of 3d boxes, envelopes and home decor items. More bags and tags an more elemental cuts. For $99 you get the cart, 3 stamp sets and chipboard. The booklet is easier to understand and it also has a 2nd booklet for assembly. I just know all Cricuteers will want this cart.
Once I receive my kit I will be able to take orders for all the wonderful CTMH products . I know that my first order will be the "Artiste" cart. Then browsing through the catalog there will be coordinated stamp sets that will work with both CTMH cartridges. This will be a great way to add more function to the 2 cartridges. And every thing is spelled out on the sizing of cuts.
I would like your word of mouth in helping me to be an Independent CTMH consultant. If you have a chance visit http://www.cricut.com where you can view many of their carts. Definately check the NEW CTMH Artiste hand book. You'll look at it many times.

Whats been happening the last 6-8 months with me???
I had a long post written, when my grandaughter sat a bag of grapes on my keyboard. That post disappeared and is in blogger space some where.
Well to make a long story short I will summerize by saying I was one sick lady. My asthma was at its worst. I was to the point I could hardly stand and walk room to room. I had 2 skin tears from tripping up with the dog. My pittng edema was so bad I developed blisters on my legs and was treated by the wound clinic. I developed a pressure wound that a surgeon said would never heal. I came down with a cellulitis. Spent a week in the hospital, where they found out I was allergic to a antibiotic. I hope to never have an allergic reaction again. I felt scared and alone.
Then I had to go to a nursing home. I was there for 3 weeks. I had to build up my body so I could carry my weight. I walked with a walker, used a wheel chair, a cane and was fitted with diabetic shoes. I had to learn to walk again, and find balance, and to climb stairs. It was alot of work.
In my free time I had my mini laptop, my Kindle and my gypsy. I kept up with all the blogs I follow. My DIL brought me my copics and some of " My Favorite Stamps " so I colored. I didn't use my Gypsy much , I had , had a problem with some of my Cricut toys and I knew it would have to be a few calls to PC to fix them.
I was discharged July 1st. How I had longed for this day. Even though my family came to visit, and Bill came every day, I missed them and our home. I was somewhat better, but happy to be home. On July 12, I was readmitted to the hospital for cellulitis. I continulously cried that I wanted to be home. A few days after receiving intense IV antibiotics, a young Doctor agreed Id do better by being home. So I left with a handful of prescriptions and list of visiting nurses and and physical therepy professionals.
As of today I (Pray) Im clear of the infection, can breathe better, can walk a little further and stand longer. Im climbing 7 stairs without exertion and ten with some exertion. My grandson set my goal that I make it upstairs so we all can have dinner together. One added blessing is that I better know how to take my diabetes injections and Im taking half the dose I was on.
My husband Bill had knee surgery and is getting stronger every day. He has been cleared to drive so I finally was able to get to get out of the house. The heat here was terrible. But yesterday was cooler, a little dreary but I was glad to be out and about. (thanks to Bill and the scooter he bought me).
We bought a new mattress, 4 years no interest. Then I bought me a watch, a new comforter set and a few outfits for the kids.
"With God all Things are Possible"...
Now for the BIG cleaning of the Craft room. I finally opened the door, "OMG". That will be a later post... Right now its a bright sunny 80* day with a light ocean breeze. I hear my patio calling.

Merry Christmas 2011
Well its Christmas Eve and the activities have begun. The grand children slept in. Around 9am I heard Danielle say "Santas been here". Jaysn corrected her by saying those are the adult gifts. Dani came running down the stairs saying "MumMum do you know what today is"? We then watched "The Year without Santa Claus", followed by "Rudolfs Shiny New Year".
My DIL came downstairs to go over the days agenda. Christmas has become her holiday to plan. Bills adult children will be over, and my son will be home from work. We planned to see the lights at LaSalette Shrine in Ma. We will walk around the lights and tell the children about Christs birth. Then when we get back to the house we will feast on horderves. Jaysn and Dani will open 1 present, usually pajamas. Then they get tucked into bed. When their asleep the adults will exchange gifts...Christmas morning is about the children and the birthday song for Jesus.
Maryah has started baking cookies and have the children bring cookies to the neighbors. Im sitting here praying I can make it up the stairs. My leg is still sore and it will be a while before the wound heals. Bill has come home, and prepares for a dump run to find it closed.
Its 4pm and Im trying to see how Im going to dress to see the lights. Is 32 degrees and the sun has been setting for a while. Its going to be cold, My son just got home so let the festivities begin.
I want to wish you all a Very Merry Christmas and a healthy New Year.
The project Im showing are cupcake toppers made using Peachy Keen Stamps. Each image is colored in with my Copic markers. I apologize for the poor picture, my camera is getting old. (Guess what Santa is bringing ME)...
Will probablly speak with you all after the New Year. Enjoy your Family.

Today I learned how to grab a BLINKIE !!!
Today I spent some time on my blog. I made some minor changes and started
thinking of other blogs I frequently visit. I noticed that many of the
blogs had BLINKIES,each saying grab my blinkie. I never gave them much thought until Emma of My Creative Time talked about having her own identity.
Her new look is so clean cut and totally her "Girl". You have to check it out at MyCreativeTime.com .
So now Im intersted in a blinkie. I have no clue where to start. So I reach out to YOU, my fellow crafters and friends. Any info or suggetions
would be much appreciated. Im also interested in how drop down lables work? Little by little Id like to see my blog blossom.
Thanks,

Santa Card
This will be a short post. First I want to appologize for the quality of the picture. I did ask Santa for a new camera (we'll see)....
This card was made using Peachy Keen stamps. I can't remember which set, but I do remember painting the image with emerald and sizzling red Glamour Dust,by DecoArt. Its ultra fine glitter and works well with a small brush. I had bought these from PK stamps. On the beard I drew wavy lines on Santas beard, let it dry then used the glamour dust over it.
I wish I could give you more info on the details of the card. Since this has been made I have learned to make notes of how I made the card.

My E2... Shes Home
WOW, 2nd post today. Im thrilled. Early this evening the FedEX truck pulled up and rang the doorbell. My grand daughter ran to the door. I
yelled for her not to answer it. She called to me it was a man. Again
I told her not to answer it. I made my way to the stairs and Dani announces, dont worry MumMum, its the man with the truck. I called for
my husband to come to the door. He walks in with a big box that he said was heavey.
I asked what it was, He answered, Dont worry, its your Cricut. At first
I didnt understand. Then I realized it was my E2. I was so surprized at how fast PC responded. I figured I would have to wait forever, but here it was.
Bill said I'll just put it in your Craft room.
Im so excited, maybe now I'll be able to complete the goodie bags for Christmas for my grandchildren school friends. Yayyyyyyy

Sampling
I have been negleting this blog. There never seems to be enough time in a day. Also its getting harder to keep motivated when when your body doesn't
want to move. My disability and asthma makes it difficult at times.
Also during this time my E2 decided it didnt want to work any more. PC had me ship the machine to them, (Glad they paid the shipping).I did get the Cricut Mini during the HSN Launch, Special of the Day. Its a cute little machine. I had no problems hooking it up and I connectedwith CCR without any problems/ I found the mini to be small,8.5 x 12 cutting space. Its quiet and fits nicely on my craft table. Easily portable. I like using CCR with it. Talking about CCR, I feel every one should at least try it. I like that I can set up a project from the comfort of my recliner with my laptop and watch TV. The larger work area in Craft Room is great. I havent given up on my Gypsy which is very convient for taking on the road or while in a waiting room.
The sampling of boxes was done on a good day. I was interested in the cuts on Bag,Tags and More cartridge. For me this was a freebie when you bought the Gypsy during a promotion. I hadnt bought the handbook and the cuts were hard to figure out what the final cut would be. So I did a sampling of some of the cuts. They are so cute. I did finally order the handbook.
I hope seeing a small sampling has helped out.
